1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TodoMode ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
TodoMode is a task management application that provides users with tools to organize, track, and manage their tasks and projects. The Service includes:
- Task creation and management with keyboard shortcuts
- Project organization and hierarchies
- Task prioritization and due dates
- Recurring tasks and reminders
- Data export and backup capabilities
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use TodoMode, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial period.
4.2 Paid Subscriptions
After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. We offer two pricing plans: €6.99 per month (monthly billing) or €5.99 per month (annual billing at €71.88 per year, saving 14%).
4.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through LemonSqueezy. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees.
4.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion.
4.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. User Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store in TodoMode ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
5.2 License to Use
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
5.3 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You must ensure your content does not violate any laws or infringe on third-party rights.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding User Content), is owned by TodoMode and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9. Data Backup and Loss
While we implement reasonable security measures and backup procedures, we recommend you regularly export and backup your data. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption.
10. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
11. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TODOMODE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TodoMode, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Third-Party Services and Integrations
15.1 Overview
The Service integrates with third-party services to provide certain features. Your use of these integrations is subject to the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies in addition to these Terms.
15.2 Calendar Integration (Nylas)
TodoMode uses Nylas as a third-party intermediary to connect to your calendar provider. When you connect a calendar:
- Your calendar credentials (OAuth tokens or app-specific passwords) are transmitted to and stored by Nylas on their infrastructure
- TodoMode stores only an encrypted Nylas grant ID (AES-256-GCM) — we do not store your credentials
- Your use of the calendar integration is governed by Nylas's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- You may disconnect your calendar and revoke access at any time
15.3 Calendar Providers
Each calendar provider has its own authentication method and terms:
- Google Calendar: Uses OAuth 2.0 with scoped calendar permissions. Subject to Google Terms of Service
- Microsoft Outlook: Uses OAuth 2.0 with scoped calendar permissions. Subject to Microsoft Services Agreement
- Apple iCloud: Uses an Apple app-specific password. Important: App-specific passwords cannot be scoped to calendar-only access — they grant access to mail, calendars, and contacts. Apple does not provide audit logs for app-specific password usage. Subject to Apple iCloud Terms
15.4 Limitation of Responsibility
TodoMode is not responsible for:
- The security practices or data handling of third-party services (including Nylas and calendar providers)
- Data breaches or security incidents at third-party services
- Changes to third-party APIs, terms, or availability that affect integrations
- Data stored or processed by third parties on their infrastructure
You are responsible for understanding the permissions you grant when connecting third-party services and for revoking access when it is no longer needed.
15.5 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, subject to their terms and privacy policy. We do not store credit card details.
15.6 Analytics
We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics, subject to Google's privacy policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TodoMode operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement
